www.glacierjazzstampede.com This video clip includes THREE songs. The Flathead Ragtime Society Orchestra is going into its 14th year as a unique 18-piece orchestra and is the only one of its kind in the Northwest USA. Led by Karla West, pianist, the group performs music of the early 1900s with emphasis on Ragtime tunes that have been specially arranged for this instrumentation. John Goodrich conducts the orchestra in this appearance at the Glacier Jazz Stampede of October 2007. THEY WERE FABULOUS! On this exciting occasion I was a multi-tasker, because I could not resist dancing to this music, and I was also self compelled to run video tape at the same time. Thank goodness for tripods!
